PAX CHRISTI MAINE: A community of faith whose members strive to live according to the teachings of the nonviolent Jesus. Our movement is rooted in Gospel Nonviolence and Catholic Social Teaching. We are aligned with Pax Christi International and Pax Christi USA. Membership is open to anyone who shares our commitment to nonviolence and the creation of a just society.

Please join us for retreat! The public ministry of Jesus is grounded in his experience of being loved. We will open ourselves to the power of Spirit and Love to walk with Jesus as he begins a new phase of his ministry leaving Palestine toward Jerusalem, the center of power.  Through meditative reading, reflections from Luke 9:18-43, group sharing, music and prayer facilitated by Jack Seery, we will journey together to explore the question, Who is Jesus to us?
